GALVANNEAL COILS

Galvanneal coils are manufactured by passing cold-rolled products through a molten bath of iron-zinc alloy that gives it a fine greyish matte finish.

Perhaps, the primary advantage of galvanneal coils is that the galvanneal doesn’t flake off its coating when formed, stamped, or bent.
Furthermore, the fine matte finish also helps the paint stick to the surface quite easily and is rust-proof. Galvanneal sheets also feature significant weldability, formability, paintability, and corrosion resistance. Hence, it is extensively used in electric equipment, automotive, signage, and other industries that demand good paintability with long-lasting service life. In addition, the galvannealed surface is ideal for both exposed and semi-exposed applications and can be painted before or after fabrication.
